Thousands gathered at the Lewiston/Edward Little Football game, and the presence of celebrity James Taylor, who sang the national anthem, brought solace and comfort to those in attendance.
According to the Lewiston Sun Journal, a book about the 2015 Lewiston High School boys soccer team has been optioned by Netflix and may become a movie. "One Goal" , written by Amy Bass, is about the 2015 team that was made up of local kids and somali refugees. The team became the most powerful in Maine, winning Lewiston's first State Championship.
