Tonight we celebrate another great show from way-back at the Civic Center! 29 years ago, on March 7, 1988, You Talk Too Much was the new song spinning on the Blimp. George Thorogood  brought the boogie to Portland with the Destroyers on the Born to Be Bad tour that night.

25 years ago today, the Wherever We May Roam tour made a stop in Portland, Maine. It was a sold-out Thursday night at the CCCC. I'm pretty sure if you were able to go into the arena when it's empty and quiet, you would hear the Enter Sandman riff echoing in the distance.

23 years ago, Bon Jovi played a sold out show at the Civic Center. This was on the Keep the Faith Tour and we are pretty sure this was the last time they came to Portland. It’s a particularly memorable show for me even though I wasn’t there.
