I've always wanted to take a ride on a tugboat. We've all seen those big powerful red tugboats guiding big ships in or out of Casco Bay, but do you know how much work goes into that short ride?

Watch how the pilots of the tugs get those ships where they need to go and learn how much preparation goes into guiding and docking the big vessels into place. This video is of The Portland Tugboat Company who has probably the safest record in America as far as accidents. In fact, their last incident happened back in 1994 when less than a cup of oil was spilled.
