#TBT: Portland, Maine Tops The Charts As The Best Small U.S. City To Spend The Weekend

According to a 2016 blog by Matt Meltzer, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and the Miami Editor for Thrillist.com, Portland, Maine was ranked as the number one 'small' U.S. city to spend a weekend in.

Some of his favorite places were the Portland Lobster Company, walking along the waterfront in the Old Port, and our many local breweries.

According to Matt, Portland beat 24 other cities including Key West Florida, and several cities in California. Check out Matt's complete list to find out what other cities couldn't compete with Portland.
