The city of Portland just installed a new light fixture at Woodford's Corner, and people just aren't having it.

This streetlight in Portland cost taxpayers $25,000, according to WGME-13, and some of the comments on this post are epic.

The post kind of bated comments about the design of the light itself and the actual price tag. Some commenters were upset about the cost, some were livid that so much money would go to something like that, but not to basic services like school supplies, hot lunches or homeless services.
