It sounds like crazy-talk, but hand-to-heaven, it's true! Coffee naps are a scientifically proven way to re-energize! How does one coffee nap? You drink a cup of coffee, set an alarm for twenty minutes, lie down and close your eyes to sleep. After your little power nap your coffee starts kicking in, so on top of rest, you have the added benefit of caffeine to get you through the rest of your day. Scientists say a power nap helps clear the brain of adenosine, that's the stuff that makes us drowsy, and that when you lie down and let yourself relax, you naturally start getting rid of it. It takes about 20 minutes for the caffeine from your coffee to kick in, by then the adenosine has had a chance to vacate. See? Sleepy stuff out, stimulant in! Give a coffee nap a try sometime. I did and I'll do it again.

Are you a napper? Have you tried this? comment on our Fan Page or tweet #coffeenap
