These Maine Chefs Just Won the Biggest Food Award in the USA
Congrats to Andrew Taylor and Mike Wiley, the owner and chef of Eventide Oyster Co. here in Portland. Last night the gents won a prestigious James Beard Award at the awards ceremony in Chicago. The James Beard Award is like the Grammy or the Oscar of the Food World.
Or like an Olympic Foodie Gold Medal!

The owners/chefs run three restaurants in Portland. Eventide, Hugos and The Honeypaw...all amazing in their own right. I wonder if these Rock Star Chefs have Foodie Groupies? Well done, boys! Bring that hardware back to Portland and thanks for helping make us the best food city in America!
