4/21/1947 - Happy Birthday James Newell Osterberg, Jr., 70 years old today. There are so many reasons to love Iggy Pop that it's impossible to go into here without creating a blog-post that would be as long as "War And Peace" and "Moby Dick" combined, and he wouldn't want that anyway. It's kinda simple, really: Garage rock begins and ends with this dude and if you don't own a copy of "Raw Power" or "Funhouse", your claim to love rock and roll is sadly callous and undeniably ignorant. But that's just us...
