8/20/1965 (53 years ago today) - Davy Jones & The Lower Third release the single "You've Got A Habit Of Leaving" -- OK, not notable for much really, except for the fact that it was the last song that David Bowie (born David Jones) released before changing his name to avoid confusion with cutey-pie Davy Jones, who was even more famous at the time as a member of The Monkees...

8/20/1979 (38 years ago today) - Bob Dylan released his 19th studio album "Slow Train Coming" -- Though generally well-reviewed by critics, Zimmy's first foray into Christianity alienated many of his longtime fans, especially on the tour that followed during which Bob refused to play any of his older material. 8/20/1986 (32 years ago today) - Admit it, you never really thought it would happen, but it did: At The Monsters Of Rock Festival, Castle Donington, England, Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen makes his first live concert appearance with the band after losing an arm in a car accident! What a little love and alotta confidence can do...
