James Douglas Morrison was born 73 years ago in Melbourne, Florida on December 8, 1943.He was absolutely one of the most iconic frontmen in the history of rock, as the singer and songwriter for the Doors. Jim’s brief flame burned bright from 1943 to 1971. "The journey was good, but the trip was better."
