35 years ago today, the Grateful Dead made their second sold-out appearance at the Civic Center in Portland. The 'circus' came town once again on May 11, 1980. This was the 15th Anniversary tour celebrating their first show together as the Warlocks in Menlo Park, California at Magoo's Pizza on May 5, 1965. Next month, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Billy Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart are reuniting with special guests Trey Anastasio and Bruce Hornsby for two shows near where it all began in Santa Clara, California. Then, they play three shows on July 3, 4, and 5th at Soldier Field in Chicago, celebrating 50 years of the Grateful Dead. They played their last show with Jerry Garcia there on July 9, 1995.

Join us tonight at 5:20 for live Grateful Dead on the WBLM Mini-Concert!
