Tonight’s WBLM Mini-Concert [VIDEO]

47 years ago this week , Jimi Hendrix had his first and only number one album on the US chart. The essential double-album, Electric Ladyland was the third and last album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience following Are You Experienced and Axis: Bold As Love. It included Crosstown Traffic, Voodoo Chile and their only Top 40 hit, the masterpiece electric interpretation of Dylan's All Along the Watchtower featuring Traffic's Dave Mason on guitar.

Electric Ladyland was released in October of 1968 and by mid-November (11/16/68 to be exact) it was at the top of the chart where it stayed for two weeks.
