38 years ago this week on December 12, 1977, one of the hottest rock bands in the universe played a sold out show at the Civic Center here in Portland. Their albums Leftoverture from ’76 and Point of Know Return from ’77 were both huge albums by the time they came to Blimpville, each selling over 4 millions copies.
