Today is Alice Cooper‘s 68th! We celebrate this beloved horror metal pioneer’s birthday tonight with trip in the Big Red Love Van to another WBLM Mini-Concert. "Alice" was born Vincent Furnier on February 4, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan.   He moved to Phoenix in the late 60s and formed band named Alice Cooper. After the success of the song "I'm Eighteen" in 1971 and an even bigger hit with "School's Out" in 1972 came Billion Dollar Babies. It was the last album from the band, Alice Cooper. In 1975, Vincent Furnier went solo with Welcome to My Nightmare and adopted his former band's name as his own. Alice Cooper has been shocking audiences for nearly 50 years now. He has also appeared in movies like Roadie, Wayne's World, and Dark Shadows to name a few. When he's not performing, Alice is most likely on the golf course.

Join us at 6:20 for live Alice Cooper and a show sure to be filled with a guillotine, an electric chair, a boa constrictor, creepy baby dolls and of course…the noose.
