43 years ago today, Pink Floyd kicked off the first of two US tours in Madison, Wisconsin. A second one began there in June of ’73. This was also the first time they brought along extra musicians. Saxophonist, Dick Parry joined them for Us and Them and Money and they also added female back-up singers. The masterpiece album was released only 3 days before on March 1, 1973.

In March 1973, WBLM and Dark Side of the Moon were both brand new. That’s pretty cool anniversary to share, right?

Join us tonight at 6:20 for live Pink Floyd on the WBLM Mini-Concert!
