30 years ago, Aerosmith rocked a sold out show at the Civic Center. This tour was to support their comeback album, Done With Mirrors which marked the return of Joe Perry who left the band in 1979 and Brad Whitford who exited in 1981. It was the band’s second live trek after the reunion of the classic Aerosmith lineup in 1984 on the Back in the Saddle Tour. Ted Nugent opened most of the dates including this epic night in Portland on April 16, 1986.

Flash forward to today in the Aerosphere: After rumblings recently from Steven Tyler that Aerosmith may be doing a farewell tour next year, Joe Perry responded this week with a different story.

Join us tonight at 6:20 for live Aerosmith on the WBLM Mini-Concert!
