When the University of Maine football team takes the field for their homecoming game Saturday they will be wearing throwback jerseys.

The throwbacks are also part of the celebration surrounding the school's 150th anniversary and will feature a large "M" on the front in place of the traditional number. The number will be placed on the top left shoulder.

The Bears will take on Yale for the first time since 1936 on Saturday with a 3:30 kickoff form Alfond Stadium.
