The University of Southern Maine Baseball team suffered a second and final loss in the College World Series falling to Emory University 15-3.The Huskies fell behind 4-0 in the first inning and was never able to overtake the Eagles who scored at least one run in 6 of the 9 innings. Chris Bernard led the Huskies with 3 hits and 2 rbi.

USM finishes the season with a 37-15 record. Emory advances to the championship game against Wisconsin-Whitewater, the two team that beat USM in the tourney.
