WATCH: Maine Built Futuristic Tank in New Fast and the Furious Movie!

The Fate of the Furious is the 8th episode in the Fast and the Furious big screen series. It premiere’s everywhere this Friday April 14th. Did you know there’s insane looking sci-fi tank featured in the film, that was built right here Maine? At Howe and Howe Technologies in Waterboro, Michael Howe and his team build extreme tanks, robots, fire trucks! Friggin’ Awesome, right? According to their website,

The latest Hollywood movie to use the talents of Howe and Howe is The Fate of the Furious starring Vin Diesel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The super-tank in this film is the Ripsaw EV2. It will be on display this Friday night for a special premiere at Smitty’s in Sanford at 6pm. The talented Mainers who built it will be there too. All proceeds will benefit Outdoors Again, a non-profit aimed at getting people in wheelchairs back the fun of outside activities.
