It was very cool to see Maine farmers recognized by the Stitch news outlet on Facebook this week. Stitch featured a short video story this week about a farm in Knox that plows the fields like they did in the olden days.

According to the video, Ken and Adrian Lamson purchased 90 acres of farmland seven years ago. They decided to harken back to simpler times by farming smaller and slower.

For them, keeping it simple even means powering their plowing operations with horses instead of engines. This cuts down on energy costs and pollution.
