There's lots of talk of fake news these days. Sometimes it's hard to find a credible source in your Facebook feed. One place I've felt continually confident about hearing honest reporting is ATTN. This week they are featuring a story filmed in Burnham, Maine on how medical cannabis is helping people kick opioid addiction.

It's a serious crisis that continues to affect the state of Maine like many areas in the US. The ATTN crew came here and spoke with Josh Thornton. His addiction started with a prescription to oxycodone. It was given to him for his pain resulting from injuries in a dirt bike accident. His story from there on is terrifying. Fortunately, Josh found that medical cannabis was the path to getting clean.
