During WBLM A to Z, we had a secret contest for VIP members. We sent out an e-mail blast telling them to listen for any McCartney or Beatles song during that day and if they were the correct caller, they'd qualify. Our winner was Michaela Reynolds from Scarborough. She went to see Paul in Albany on July 2nd! It pays to become a WBLM VIP! Click here to join!

Here's a great little review and thank you note from Michaela and her husband, John.

Dear WBLM,

Fantastic show!Very intimate arena with excellent acoustics. Paul displayed no evidence of his recent illness! His energy was limitless playing just about three hours while covering just about 40 songs. I thought his voice was as strong as ever. He opened with Eight Days a Week and ended with two lengthy encores. He seemed to delight in the audience with frequent banter throughout opening with “ I think we are going to have a bit of fun tonight”. A highlight was a marriage proposal for a sixty something couple that he actually brought on stage after reading their signs. Her sign read—“He won’t marry me until he meets you, and his read “ I am 64 and I have the ring”. The gentleman bowed to one knee and proposed to the delight of Paul and the audience. She said yes and the man broke into a spontaneous version of When I’m Sixty-Four with Paul playing his Famed Hofner Bass in accompaniment. Thanks for the tickets!! Great show!!!
