Westbrook Landmark Returns!

According to Eater Maine, the city of Westbrook can officially welcome one it’s favorites back on Friday, Don’s Lunch Van. After an ownership change and a wicked fancy renovation of the van, Don’s will have a grand opening tomorrow(12/4) at 925 Main St. in Westbrook at 4pm.

Previous ownership of Don’s came under fire after it was revealed that paying taxes wasn’t their strong suit. The new owner, Craig Bernier, plans to return Don’s Lunch to the basics and hopes that the customers return too.

Bernier plans on returning the Don’s menu to what made it popular to begin with. A variety of burgers, hot dogs, clam cakes and fries as well as a few “special” additions, according to the Don’s Lunch Van Facebook page. If you’ve never visited Don’s, they will now be located across from Profenno’s on Main St.
