The CCCC is having an free open house tomorrow! You can take a tour and see how great it turned out after all the renovations. With so many historic rock shows since they opened in 1977, the CCCC is like our second home. I'll never forget my first concert there. It was the ZZ Top 'Eliminator' tour in the summer of '83. And as if that wasn't enough, Sammy Hagar opened the show! Pretty cool that ZZ Top was the first concert there in 1977 and my first show six years later. After that night with ZZ and the Red Rocker, I was hooked on going to live shows. Little did I know standing on the floor watching ZZ Top churn out the Texas boogie as only they can, that I would be standing on that stage four years later welcoming the crowd at the Def Leppard/Tesla show in my satin BLM jacket!

The CCCC is such an important part of Blimpville's history and will always be my favorite place to see a live concert. I cannot wait to get in there and experience our first BLM show with Brit Floyd on April 4th.
