When Was the Last Time Joan Rivers Was in Portland? [AUDIO]

The legendary comedian and talk show host Joan Rivers passed away on Thursday at 81 surrounded by her family and friends in a New York hospital. Just nine months ago, she appeared at the Merrill Auditorium in Portland and did a telephone interview on our sister station, WHOM 94.9, with Sandra and Teddy.

During this interview, Rivers was just as funny as ever. She poked fun at Maine, the fall foliage season and invited Teddy and Sandra backstage provided they brought her a present, but no quilts.

One of the most interesting things that Rivers said was when she told Teddy what she would tell aspiring comics who wanted to make it big. If you saw Joan Rivers at the Merrill Auditorium on Nov. 13, 2013, we would love to hear from you.
