Wicked Big Schooners in Portland This Weekend
First of all, don't you just love the word Schooner (that's pronounced, Schoo-nah 'round heah)? Or it it just us? Well, summer's here and the time is right for sailing in the bay!
The Portland Schooner Fest and Regatta is going on now (6/22) through Tuesday (6/26). This year will feature 7 wicked big schooners cruising and racing in Casco Bay.
Go check out and and take tours on the Adventure Schooner from Gloucester, Mass, the 131' Harvey Gamage from Portland, Bailey Island's Schooner Alert and more.
The newly restored legendary Schooner Mary E from Maine Maritime Museum in Bath will race for the first time this weekend.

6/23/18 - 10:30 to 12:30 Race #1 Morning, Two-hour sail
6/23/18 - 9:30 to 12:30 Race #1 Morning, Three-hour sail
6/23/18 - 1 to 3 pm Race #2 Early Afternoon
6/23/18 - 3 to 5 pm Race #3 Late Afternoon
6/23/18 - 1 to 5pm Races 2 and 3 All Afternoon, two races, Four-hour sail
6/23/18 - 6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday Evening Cruise-in-Company
6/24/18 - 10:30 to 12:30 Race 4 Morning, Two-hour Sail
