Wicked Funny Song About Mud Season in Maine

It's Easter weekend in Blimpville. Soon there'll be buds on the trees, the grass will start getting green, flowers startin' to bloom...yup, the spring thaw is upon us. But with that, comes the muck that gets us stuck in a rut! Mud Season!

These guys are great! They call themselves Flooded Cellar and they hail from beautiful Lovell over there on Route 5 in Oxford County. We featured a music video by them a few months ago called Six Cords Shy of a Broken Back which hilariously laments the “seven month haul” that is winter in Maine.

Well now that we survived that, it's time to endure that soft, sinking transition from cold weather to warm weather. As we impatiently wait for the dirt roads and backyards to dry out and for the peepers to start singing, we Mainers can totally relate to this music video!
