Pick our own top storyline in the Red Sox 5-3 win over the Yankees last night. Rick Porcello's solid eight innings. Rookie Andrew Benintendi's three hits in his first Fenway game. A benches clearing scuffle. Craig Kimbrel lifted after four walks in the 9th inning and Matt Barnes had to get the final out.

In the end, it was a win and a game pickup on both Baltimore and Toronto in the standings.

Benintendi is now hitting .500 (8-for-16) and nearly had his first home run. Video review took the homer away.

The Sox are 61-50 and that ties them with the Blue Jays in the loss column. They are one loss behind the O's.
