Win an Ice-Breaker Prize Package!
Gorham Savings Bank and the University of Maine are throwing a Free Block Party on October 10th in Portland from 1-5 pm in the parking lot behind One Portland Square. The Block Party celebrates the Ice Breaker Tournament with UMaine playing multiple games at the Cross Insurance Arena against some of the country’s premiere college teams. As part of the celebration, there'll be live music from local favorites Hello Newman, Dean Ford, Ben Kilcollins and Kris Rodgers. And of course, the Block Party will have plenty to chow down on with food trucks from Maine-ly Meatballs, Love Kupcakes, Gusto’s and more. The beer garden will be flowing too, presented by Shipyard. This also a family-friendly event with a Kids Zone, hosted by the Portland Pirates and the Maine Youth Hockey League featuring inflateable hockey games, team mascots, UMaine Hockey stars and Coach Red Gendron.
WBLM wants to hook a couple lucky fans with an ultimate Ice Breaker prize pack which will include 2 tickets to the tournament game of their choice, 2 tickets when UMaine returns to the Cross Insurance Arena on 12/19 to battle the University of New Hampshire, an autographed puck from Coach Gendron, and a limited edition Shipyard Brewing Company Ice Breaker Tournament Pint Glass.
