Wreaths Across America, An SIS Touchdowns for Good Recipient

We've teamed up with the great folks at SIS Bank for the Touchdowns for Good program to help non-profits here in Maine. For every touchdown our New England team makes, SIS Bank will donate $50 dollars to a Maine charity that supports our veterans.

Wreaths Across America's mission is to Remember,(our fallen soldiers), Honor,(those who serve) and Teach, (our children the value of freedom). They do that through wreath laying ceremonies across the United States, over-seas and at Arlington National Cemetery. The wreath escort from Maine is on it's way and will make stops to educate young people.

Wreaths Across America began with Maine wreath maker, Morrill Worcester when he made his pilgrimage to Arlington National Cemetery with a single truck carrying 5,000 wreaths that he donated to honor those buried there. It's 25 years later, and Morrill's kind gesture of respect and remembrance has grown into a national mission to Remember, Honor and Teach.
