Well, a rainy Saturday morning was just about perfect for a coupla far-out epic pieces from the King Crimson and Quicksilver Messenger Service debuts, along with a taste of Van Morrison‘s “Astral Weeks” and a brand new band from the U.K. called Temples (endorsed by Noel Gallagher and Johnny Marr) that sounds like The Mamas & The Papas got into a throwdown with Foster The People! The Blimp Big Mattress was wonderfully messed up, groovin’ all over the place, and yes, it was fun…
