Dweezil Zappa spent an entire hour with us this morning on Psychedelic Breakfast. He is in Portland  putting the finishing touches on a live Zappa Plays Zappa DVD due next summer. We played lots of Frank from Apostrophe, the album that will performed in it's entirety on the forthcoming release. In the picture above, Dweeziltakes a photo of our original copies of 200 Motels and Over-nite Sensation. He was particularly impressed that 200 Motels still had a braille label (BLM's first voice on the air was Steve Hoad, who is blind).

Here's today's playlist:

Cream - "White Room" / The West Coast Pop Experimental Band - "Smell of Incense" / Steely Dan - "The Boston Rag" / Status Quo - "Pictures of Matchstick Men" / Sugarloaf - "Green-Eyed Lady" / The Amboy Dukes - "Journey to the Centre of Your Mind" / Big Star - "The Ballad of El Goodo" / The Jimi Hendrix Experience - "Foxey Lady" / David Essex - "Rock On" / Chicago Transit Authority - "I'm a Man" / Frank Zappa - "Apostrophe" / Frank Zappa - "Don't Eat the Yellow Snow/Nanook Rubs It" / Frank Zappa - "St. Alfonzo's Pancake Breakfast" / Frank Zappa - "Father O'Blivion" / Frank Zappa - "The Gumbo Variations"
