Celebrate Adoption Awareness Month With Maine Children's Home For

November is Adoption Awareness Month and the Maine Children's Home For Little Wanderers will hold an informational event November 19th at One Longfellow Square in Portland. Enjoy a cocktail and heavy hors d'oevres from Black Tie Catering from 5-6:30, tickets are only $20 and benefit the Maine Children's Home for Little Wanderers.

Many services are provided by the Maine Children's Home for Little Wanderers, including: search and reuinion services which are especially helpful in accessing medical information, an international adoption program matching Mainers with children from different countries, domestic adoptions that match Mainers with babies and children from within the U.S., free informational meetings, counseling and much more.

The home is based in Waterville but also has a satelite agancy in Portland to provide families in Southern Maine with their services.
