New Waterville, Maine, Brewery, Restaurant & Bar Cushnoc Cantina

An insanely popular Central Maine staple, a spot where many of us frequent, called Cushnoc Brewing Company, has expanded its reach!

They have added a new twist, launching Cushnoc Cantina!

Cushnoc is known for its incredible beer and fun atmosphere and now, they have brought tacos to Main Street in Waterville, according to WABI.

They are sitting pretty in one of the revitalized buildings bought by Colby College and have officially opened their doors Monday, according to the article.

Owner, Tobias Parkurst says,

"Waterville is a community that’s on the move, man. Waterville’s got a ton of new development projects in the works, new housing plans, and, you know, we want to be a part of that rising tide. Everybody wants to be on a winning team, and Waterville’s winning right now,”

Waterville has had many new spots pop up including Pickles, Potions and Lotions, MEZZA, and Aprilla's.

Cushnoc Cantina seems to be all about good food, beer, and making everyone feel at home. In my opinion, whatever Cushnoc has their hands in, will succeed. I mean, have you tried their beer yet? Chef's kiss!

So, whether you’ve just finished painting the house or you’re out for a night on the town, you’ll feel comfortable here, no dress code required!

After all, there’s already plenty of pizza in town, so Cushnoc decided to switch things up with delicious tacos!

Tobias tells WABI,

“One of our core values is that we always try to be complimentary and not competitive. There’s two great pizza restaurants. Portland Pie is directly diagonal across the street, and Waterville House of Pizza is diagonally across the street in that direction. We didn’t really feel the need to be the pizza trifecta when there’s good pizza already,”

The Cantina is cozy, welcoming, and ready to become your favorite spot for tacos, drinks, and good times.

They are open every day for lunch and dinner, according to their Facebook Page, and it’s the perfect place to gather with family and friends.
