OPA! It's that time of year again when the Greek Festival swings open its doors, inviting the community to experience, embrace, and celebrate all things Greek!

My YiaYia's name is Pappacristopulous, so naturally, I'm one excited Greek! My mom has been bringing the family to the Greek festival in Lewiston, Maine, each year, and it is now an incredible tradition.
The festival takes place at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lewiston, and it just keeps getting better every year.
The countdown has officially begun to the L/A Greek Festival kicks off, and anticipation is in the air!
The yearly celebration of Greek culture is not just an event to me and so many, it's more than that.
It's a beautiful gathering of the community that brings folks together to share, celebrate, and immerse themselves in the rich culture of Greece. That is what this is all about.
My favorite part of the Greek Festival each year, is taking in the essence of everyone around me.
The best part of the festival is the sense of togetherness it fosters. The festival will offer special entertainment, food, pastries, church tours, Taverna Café, and so much more. For more information you can head to lagreekfestival.com.
Whether you're Greek or simply a lover of all things Greek, this Lewiston festival is your chance to really take part and be a part of something extremely special!
The festival takes place at 155 Hogan Road, Lewiston on September 6 to the 7 from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. rain or shine!
