Make-A-Wish Maine Extends Registration for Trailblaze Challenge

Make-A-Wish was founded in 1980 to help fulfill the wishes of seriously ill children, like trips to Disney World, or even meeting the President of the United States. As of 2023, Make-A-Wish has granted over 550,000 wishes to children in over 50 countries.

The Trailblaze Challenge is just one of the fundraisers held to raise money to grant those wishes. Participants of all levels are welcome, whether you're a novice looking to experience the joy of hiking, or an advanced outdoor enthusiast seeking a new adventure. It's a perfect opportunity to push your limits, forge lasting connections with fellow participants, and contribute to the wonderful mission of Make-A-Wish Maine.

After the Trailblaze Challenge ends, there's a dinner and awards ceremony where you may meet one of the wish recipients and hear the family's experience, which is always a touching moment.
