New Thrill Ride Arriving at The Fryeburg Fair in Maine

The time has arrived for the largest agricultural fair in Maine to come alive yet again.

The Fryeburg Fair returns on Sunday, October 4 and runs through Sunday, October 11.

Each and every year, organizers at the Fryeburg Fair try to bring new attractions to the Blue Ribbon Classic to keep things feeling fresh and exciting.

Sometimes that is new exhibits or competitions. Sometimes that's new food vendors or top-end entertainment.

And sometimes it's a super powered thrill ride that will push you to the extreme.

Fryeburg Fair Will Feature New Thrill Ride Called 'AI' For 2026

Shared by Dreamland Amusements, one of the featured thrill rides at the Fryeburg Fair for 2026 will be called AI.

AI is one of the most unique carnival rides on the circuit. While it looks like a traditional spinning ride at first glance, the artificial intelligence of the ride mechanism decides how and when it wants to spin those who dare to be strapped in.

The multi-rotating platform will go as high as 50 feet in the air and AI will decide whether you spin clockwise or counter-clockwise making every single ride on AI different.

This is a high thrill ride so there are height requirements.

Fryeburg Fair to Feature Some Big Name Musical Acts in 2026

From Sunday to Sunday, the Fryeburg Fair is filled with activities, competitions and exhibitions to keep everyone engaged.

For 2026, the Fryeburg Fair will feature several big name acts as part of their evening entertainment.

Multi-platinum recording artists Plain White T's would be playing the main stage at the fair on Tuesday, October 6.

Recycled Percussion will take the main stage on Thursday, October 8 to bring the party to the fair.

Motor Booty Affair will bring the house down as they take the main stage on Saturday, October 10.
