New Hampshire Chef Named in Top 10 ‘Disruptive Entrepreneurs’ in the U.S.
Wow. Just when you think he has done it all, there's this.
New Hampshire's own, Chef Bobby Marcotte was named as one of the Top 10 "Disruptive Entrepreneurs" in the U.S. by msn.com.
Bobby is the deliciousness that is the Tuckaway Tavern & Butchery in Raymond, owner of the Hop & Grind, Rise & Grind in Durham, NH and his latest wedding venue, the Barn at Merry Hill in Nottingham, NH.
Bobby Marcotte Didn't Expect This
On Bobby's Facebook page, he didn't expect to be included on such a list.
Here's what they said about Bobby:
Becoming a father at 17 meant (Bobby) couldn’t stage under world-renowned chefs, so he took the path of self-education. Through dedication, hard work, and a constant thirst for knowledge, he built a thriving culinary empire.
The article also talks about his award for "Restaurateur of the Year 2024" and his winnings on Guy Fieri's Food TV shows of over $100K.
His Daughter Remains His Inspiration and Drive
A big part of Bobby's heart and inspiration is in honor of his late daughter, Alanna, who passed away in April of 2014 at the young age of 13 years old. Bobby has raised money for St. Jude's Hospital and has funded almost a $1 million dollars in her honor, making Bobby's team one of the top teams in the U.S.

Grateful to Have Bobby in NH
I live in Raymond, NH. There used to be a time when people had no idea where that was, however, now they say, "Oh yeah, I love the Tuckaway Tavern."
I do too and I am grateful for what he's done for my little hometown and far beyond.
