Remember when Cheers was on TV?  The show was based on a bar named the Cask & Flagon in Boston, Massachusetts, although I think the original has changed its name to Cheers (but don't quote me on that).  It was the place "where everybody knows your name", as the song went.  That's the feeling that this little Nottingham, New Hampshire, corner store gives you when you walk in the door.  It's also a place for the community to gather on Tuesdays for Cruise Night.

Liar's Paradise in Nottingham, New Hampshire, is on my way home.  On Tuesdays, there are a lot of incredible cars all in one place for Cruise Night.

There are so many different kinds, but they are all super cool.  One of my faves is a brand-new 2024 Chevrolet C8 E-Ray.  This thing looks like something out of a Marvel movie.

Didn't ZZ Top make a video with this one?

Cheap Eats at Liar's Paradise, Nottingham, New Hampshire

I haven't really told you what Liar's Paradise is yet.  It's a neighborhood store that sells all the things you would expect, like lottery tickets, milk, soda, etc., etc.  But it also has a kitchen, and you can order some really great food on. The. Cheap.

Check this out.  I ordered an eggplant parm for my husband and me.  One order would be enough for the both of us.  The total came to $13.01.  Thirteen dollars and one penny for a delicious takeout dinner for two.  I love this place.  If you were here and could hear me, I would say it with lots of enthusiasm and volume.  If eggplant isn't your thing, they have pizza, salads, subs, and all the usual suspects.

Sometimes, when the power goes out at my house, we truck it on down to Liar's.  They always have power, hot coffee, and breakfast sandwiches.  I love it there, and they don't even know my name.

Do you have a place like Liar's?  What's the name of it, and where is it?
