Officials from the Boston Marathon have recently made a historic announcement on who they are welcoming to run in the next race in 2023.

Many celebrities have partaken in the 26.2 miles that make up the Boston Marathon.

American Meb Keflezighi has won the 2014 Boston Marathon, making him the first American to do so since 1985!  Keflezighi had the names of the victims from last years tragic bombing written on the corners of his bib, and plans on meeting with their families if possible.
