The restaurant where I first learned how to eat a lobster is now for sale.

As part of their half-billion dollar expansion, Maine Medical Center is set to become the new owner of Portland institution Pizza Villa

A letter sent to the city council from the owners says in part that the menu of the new restaurant will be based around "barbecue traditions handed down through five generations of Eastern North Carolina pig cooking dating back hundreds of years."

As Portland's popularity continues to grow, this seemingly harmless intersection downtown grows more dangerous.

The new bar will seat just under 100 people with room for 40 outside during summer and warm months

City officials said there is no other option than to close that block of Congress Street because the crane being used is too wide to allow traffic to flow.

Yeah you read that right. A man was arrested by Portland Police today for blocking traffic near Congress Square in Portland. Lucky for us, Ted Varipatis of WCSH 6 happened to capture the moment because no one would believe us if he didn't.

Congress Street in town Portland has really become a hub for food, entertainment and art. It even got the attention of the American Planning Association, who has bestowed Congress Street with the honor of being one of the top 10 greatest streets in America!
