Craig is a wicked Mainah who hilariously raps his way through our notable features such as Anna Kendrick to "more moose here than you've ever seen" and a whole bunch more.
Well now we are especially happy here at the Blimp to be able to play that original North Country Records release on CD. And now you can get your own copy too!
Our buddies in the band, Flooded Cellar released a new video today on YouTube and if you're a wicked Mainah (as if you ain't), you should see it. The song is called Inside Maine's Outdoors. We gotta warn ya, it'll be stuck in your head after the first listen.
They call themselves Flooded Cellar. When the warm weather finally arrives each year, they enjoy fishing on Kezar Lake. Of course, along with these nature loving excursions comes the threat of terrible tiny beasts...Friggin' Ticks!
Earlier this week, Aaron took his guitar out to the deck to play some classic Aerosmith in the sunshine. He gives us a killer unplugged (although shortened) rendition of One Way Street from their 1973 debut album. Great vocals and guitar playing right here!
It's by fellow local laborers and moonlighting musicians, Flooded Cellar from Lovell. We've featured their wicked funny songs about everything from tick checks, to stacking wood, mud season and more. They get us, because they are us!
Now let's have some fun with a band from Lovell in Oxford County. They call themselves Flooded Cellar and when the warm weather finally arrives they enjoy fishing on Kezar Lake. They also like to stroll through the tall grass in wide open spaces and hike the wooded trails. Along with these nature loving excursions of course comes the threat of terrible tiny beasts...Friggin' Ticks!
Tony McNaboe was on the Rustic Overtones journey with Dave as the band's drummer and 'brother' for many, many years in the classic line-up. He as you can well imagine has been hit very hard by the untimely passing of someone so close. All who love him will want to see and hear this achingly beautiful song Tony has written in his honor.
Today we remember the great James 'JD' Drown on his 72nd birthday. JD is best recollected as the visionary front man for the legendary Maine and New Hampshire band, The Blend.
It comes to us from Sam Shain of the band Scolded Dogs. The hippie vibe sounds like Hallowell to us for sure. Give it a listen and we bet you'll be singing the chorus later!

This Portland native soothed our souls a couple weeks back. He released his awesome performance of Soundgarden's Fell On Black Days as a tribute to Chris Cornell. Now he's made us all wicked proud again singing the National Anthem like it's never been sung before.
