As if the pandemic isn't nerve wracking enough, we've recently been told to watch out for murder hornets and the coming rise of cicadas. And now this...the recent sighting of monster jellyfish on the beach at Peaks Island.

With the addition of the Peaks Island/Island Lobster Company cam, the count of live streams from Maine is now at 43.

Peaks Island in Casco Bay is a destination for tourists and Maine residents alike, but did you know that there's an abandoned fort on the island that you can explore? Make sure bring a flashlight.

Still in its working stages, the screenshots of a video game that takes place on a fictional Peaks Island are pretty impressive. Take a look.

According to their most recent post on Instagram, they will have a soft opening in April.

However, many people don't know that an abandoned World War II fort is located on the island with a mysterious underground tunnel open for exploring.

One of our favorite places to go, especially in the Summer, is Peaks Island. Even though it's a quick 15 minute ferry ride from Portland, you feel like a world away.
