Come out tonite to support a Maine musician in need and a Maine band still grieving. Tonite at AURA it's the benefit for Tim Butterworth with Rustic Overtones and Anna Lombard.

Tony McNaboe was on the Rustic Overtones journey with Dave as the band's drummer and 'brother' for many, many years in the classic line-up. He as you can well imagine has been hit very hard by the untimely passing of someone so close. All who love him will want to see and hear this achingly beautiful song Tony has written in his honor.

A fundraiser for Special of Olympics Maine featuring five bands, including Rustic Overtones, is being held Sunday September 11 at Oxford Plains Speedway. This event wasn't organized by Special Olympics, it's a private show to benefit the foundation and everything has been donated; the venue, lights, sound and talent...

Dave Gutter and Count Von Count of Sesame Street were guests at a taping of the locally produced The Nite Show with Danny Cashman this week. Magic happened backstage between tapings when they got together to sing "Check" with Count of course...counting.
