WBLM Mini-Concert

25 years ago today, the Wherever We May Roam tour made a stop in Portland, Maine. It was a sold-out Thursday night at the CCCC. I'm pretty sure if you were able to go into the arena when it's empty and quiet, you would hear the Enter Sandman riff echoing in the distance.

It’s a very special celebration tonight on the WBLM Mini-Concert. We’ll remember the “quiet” Beatle, George Harrison, a humble and infinitely talented man on the eve of his 74th birthday.

Happy 65th Birthday to Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford, born February 23, 1952  in Winchester, Massachusetts.

23 years ago, Bon Jovi played a sold out show at the Civic Center. This was on the Keep the Faith Tour and we are pretty sure this was the last time they came to Portland. It’s a particularly memorable show for me even though I wasn’t there.
