Here Comes Portland’s First Cannabis Festival [VIDEO]

According to the Portland Press Herald, the festival will be called the New England Cannabis Farmers Market Festival, designed to bring cannabis growers and medical marijuana patients together.  Organizers also made it clear that no alcohol or marijuana would be allowed to be consumed during the event. It’s set to take place at Deering Oaks part on Sunday August 9th from 9am to 7pm. There’s also a plan for live music and food vendors on site. Medical marijuana has been legal in Maine since 2009. Possession of marijuana of no more than 2.5 ounces has been legal in Portland since 2013 for folks 21 and over.
