Blimpville has so many great live Black Crowes memories over the past two decades, from the first one at T-Birds in April 1990 to the last ones at the State Theatre in October 2013, for WBLM’s 40th Anniversary. Perhaps the most memorable night with the Black Crowes in Portland happened 24 years ago today

He was born December 20, 1966 just outside of Atlanta. Happy birthday to our old friend Chris Robinson former leader of the Black Crowes!

Sessions were held during a period of intense internal acrimony, particularly between brothers Chris and Rich Robinson.
