The idea of "drive-in" concerts came alive this past weekend in Denmark. The country, not the Maine town. But what IF drive-in concerts were held in Maine. Would you go? Bands use a sound system as well as putting the audio feed on the FM dial so you can blast it in your vehicle.

We have two more great shows that we've just added to the Blimp Concert Calendar. David Coverdale is still rocking after all these years and is coming to the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on August 24th. Tickets on sale 2/28 for that one!

The shows keep on coming! We announced Guns and Roses coming to Fenway in July (tickets on sale 2/7) and a few more shows coming to AURA in Portland. And don't forget we have tickets to see Aerosmith this September at Fenway on the WBLM App!

It's only January and the Blimp Concert Calendar is already starting to fill up. Two more shows added this week Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams at TD Garden in July and Rod Stewart with Cheap Trick in Bangor in August. Here's the full list for ya! We've had a busy week for concert announcements here on the Blimp. The Black Crowes are in. Billy Joel is coming back. Bob Weir WAS in, but know he's out, KISS is back in, but probably for the last time evah. So much to keep track of, including a slew of super-fun tribute bands. Here's the updated Blimp Concert Calendar. And believe us, there are MANY MANY more coming!

The 2020 concert calendar is starting to shape quite nicely. WBLM welcomes back Bob Weir to the State Theatre next March. These shows will be Bob doing Dead songs and much more in a trio with Don Was and Jay Lane.

What a great summer of rock we had in Blimpville! The good news is that October...excuse me...Rocktober...looks great too! Keep listening to the Blimp to win tickets and more to all of these shows!

What a summer for live rock and roll! Just last week we had TWO Heart shows, Steve Miller and Joe Bonamassa in Blimpville. WBLM welcomes back Rock Legends DEEP PURPLE to Portland. It's been awhile-the last Purple show in Maine was way back in April of 1987. This time they are headed to Merrill Auditorium!
