#TBT: Check Out This Story From The 50’s Titled ‘A Maine Lobsterman’, Written By E.B. White [VIDEO]

E.B. White was an American author who wrote for The New Yorker, as well as children’s books such as Stuart Little, and Charlotte’s Web. In 1899, he was born in Mount Vernon, New York. In 1929 he married and had a son who grew up to own Brooklin Boat Yard in Brooklin, Maine. White spent most of the year in Brooklin with his wife and son.

White died in Maine in 1985 but not before he wrote this story called ‘A Maine Lobsterman.’ The story is set in the 1950’s when lobster was just 30 cents a pound, and all the traps were wooden.
