$20,000 Reward for a Piece of Maine Fireball

The amazing fireball that blazed across Maine a few nights ago was a meteorite. And if you can find even a small piece of it you could be $20,000 richer! The Maine Mineral and Gem Museum in Bethel says they will give the 20k for even one kilogram of the meteorite. But you have to be the first to ring it to them.

"This is an exciting opportunity, and we need the public's help," museum director Barbra Barrett said. The MMGM will put your find in their Museum.
